T.E. Lawrence The Mint A Day-Book of the R.A.F. Depot Between August and December 1922 With Later Notes by 352087 A/c Ross is for sale. This stunning book comes in its original publisher’s slipcase and is a numbered limited edition being number 1469 of just 2000 copies. This book published by Jonathan Cape in London in 1955 measures 8 x 10½ inches (approximately).
The slipcase has the title, The Mint, in pink to the front and back, with T.E. Lawrence and other details in black. The slipcase is in Very Good condition but with dust staining and wear to the spine.
The original publisher’s blue binding with gilt lettering to the spine is in Near Fine condition with slight corner knocks.
There 206 numbered pages with wonderful decorated endpapers to the front and back of the book, with the pages being remarkably clean and some pages left unopened. The pages are in overall Near Fine condition.
The Mint is a very rare and collectable T.E. Lawrence limited edition book.
