The First Edition has for sale this very rare Winnie the Pooh related song book, A.A. Milne Fourteen Songs From When We Were Very Young, taken from A.A. Milne When We Were Very Young, which is filled with illustrations by E.H. Shepard from this first of the Christopher Robin books, and music score especially written by H. Fraser-Simson.
The original boards bear the original paper label. The boards are in Good condition with marks to the front and back boards (more prominent to the front board), with corner knocks and wear to the edges. There are 34 numbered pages which are in overall Very Good condition with browning to the endpapers; occasional light spotting and dust marks; and a crack to the internal hinge between pages 14 and 15 for the song Buckingham Palace, but all pages are bound-in.
This is an extremely rare Christopher Robin book from the Winnie the Pooh series of books from 1924 (the same year as the A.A. Milne book When We Were Very Young was first published) which will make a wonderful addition to any A.A. Milne Winnie the Pooh book collection, Winnie the Pooh memorabilia collection, or any children’s illustrated books collection.
